Following his Tuesday agreement to a two-year deal with
a club option for the 2025 season, Anthony Rizzo will continue to wear the pinstripes
of the New York Yankees. Mark Feinsand of MLB.com was
informed by sources that the agreement is for at least $40 million,
but the organisation declined to provide further details.
According to reports, Rizzo's new contract would pay him
$34 million over the next two seasons with
a $6 million buyout option or a $17 million club option for 2025.
