The 39-year-old "Thor" actor discovers that he carries two

copies of the APOE4 gene, one from each of his parents,

 increasing his risk of developing Alzheimer's disease in one episode

 of the short-lived Disney+/National Geographic series,

which features him exploring ways to extend his life and fight ageing.

He then added that he "didn't really know what to think" after first

 stating that he "had a number of questions."
